Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the general field of worker's compensation and or Root Cause Analysis.
  • Available for overnight travel, 25% of the time.
  • This position is a hybrid remote position some on site work is required.
  • Obtain Certified Investigation Certificate within six months of hire.

Remote Position: available for candidates residing in PA, DE, FL, LA, MD, NJ, OH, TX, and VA.

Salary: $56,000-$60,000



  • Monitor worker's compensation inbox and input all worker's compensation claims into the internal reporting system.
  • Set up electronic file for all worker's compensation claim and notify WC Manager via e-mail of critical incidents.
  • Assist with annual OSHA log update to First Report System.
  • Follow up to getting additional claim information from sites, including form correction. incomplete information, or any additional detail as needed.
  • Assist with follow up and management of medical records from treating physicians.
  • Responsible for initial contact with employee filing a worker's comp claim.
  • Annually assist with self-insurance and AAIP renewal.
  • Assume duties as assigned by WC Manager as needed.
  • Assist with development of procedure and policy under the guidance of the WC Manager.
  • Partner with the safety team to prepare enterprise-wide recommendations on reducing incidents and assist with implementation with a focus on the California region.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Certified Investigations.
  • Investigate significant employee, consumer, or site injury events and assist programs in developing Measurable Improvement Plans designed to prevent future occurrences.
  • Assist with any follow up on external agency inquiries including OSHA and Cal OSHA in the California region.
