Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes User Assistance and Web Help Content team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!

The User Assistance and Web Help Content team at SOLIDWORKS is dedicated to providing exceptional support and guidance to our users through comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, tutorials, and online help resources.

Work on developing a new online help website with content, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to assist users in troubleshooting issues and utilizing product features effectively.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to ensure that user assistance content aligns with product functionality and user needs.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of user assistance materials.
• Assist with building a GenAI Chat widget for help.solidworks.com

You will be part of a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring that users have the information and resources they need to effectively utilize our software products and achieve their goals. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a User Assistance, Web Help developer and GenAI Intern with skills in the following areas:

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to natural language understanding, dialog management, and user interaction.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, gather requirements from stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and explore innovative approaches to enhance the chatbot's capabilities and user experience.
• Self-Motivation and Learning Agility: Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies, as well as the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project requirement

Qualifications

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for building chatbots and conversational interfaces, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Understanding of NLP concepts and techniques, including text preprocessing, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and part-of-speech tagging.
• Machine Learning: Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks relevant to natural language understanding and generation, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or spaCy.
• Chatbot Development Platforms: Familiarity with chatbot development platforms and frameworks like Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Rasa.
• API Integration: Ability to integrate the chatbot with external APIs and services to provide dynamic and personalized responses based on user inputs.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Awareness of UX principles and best practices for designing conversational interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, and engaging.
• Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in testing and debugging chatbot functionality to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for managing codebase changes and collaborating with team members.

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $22 - $33 per hour.
