ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Provide support as required to ensure that a safe and healthful environment is provided for all employees and compliance to all government regulations and corporate policies are maintained.
  • Develop expertise with respect to the Facilities manufacturing equipment and processes in order to support manufacturing initiatives that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise with regards to mechanical design of components, equipment, and processes through the utilization of engineering principles: commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Develop designs that comply with company policies for cGMP.
  • Participate in and/or provide coordination and leadership for projects. This includes continuous or process improvement initiatives, equipment modifications, and equipment installation projects.
  • Provide technical expertise with respect to equipment design and component design to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Assist with the development of machine centerlines and good run settings.
  • Provide technical support for the commercialization of new products, processes or systems for any of the Facilities manufacturing processes as required.
  • Coordinate the fabrication, operation, installation, and/or repair of equipment and processes.
  • Participate in, and lead as appropriate, continuous improvement activities as required with respect to safety, quality, productivity and cost initiatives.
  • Provide support to purchasing by providing equipment specifications and/or requirements, resolve equipment or parts issues, and realize cost savings opportunities with equipment vendors or parts suppliers.
  • Must be flexible in work schedule to support engineering projects as needed. This requires a commitment to the hours necessary to complete projects on time.
  • Provide the technical skills necessary to bring design projects from concept to fully functional processes and/or equipment.
  • Communicate fully with seniors, subordinates, and others who have the need to know. Communications should be prompt, complete, candid and clear.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS for ENGINEER II, PAYGRADE 11: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent education with three (3) years of experience; or equivalent demonstrable skills and aptitude with six (6) years of relevant experience.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Proficient skills and experience utilizing Auto Cad.
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project.
    • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be well organized with the ability to support and participate in multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
    • Ability to develop training materials and effectively train adult learners.
    • Capacity to enhance education and technical skills.
    • Ability to obtain a passport and to travel domestically and internationally.


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS for ENGINEER III, PAYGRADE 13: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent education with a minimum of seven (7) years applicable industry experience.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Proficient skills and experience utilizing Auto Cad; Inventor experience a plus.
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project.
    • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be well organized with the ability to support and participate in multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
    • Ability to develop training materials and effectively train adult learners.
    • Capacity to enhance education and technical skills.

    • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
    • Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
    • Frequent standing/walking. Occasional sitting, bending, twisting, kneeling , climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching.
    • Repetitive hand and foot movement.
    • Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures.
    • Requires ability to read, write, calculate and analyze.
    • Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision
