The Director of Design Services will play a pivotal role at Mizzou Online in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of online instructional and media design services for the University of Missouri. This role involves providing design, development, and evaluation services to colleges, departments and faculty, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, and promoting effective online course and program design strategies. This position will lead a team of instructional and experience designers, as well as work directly with complementary education support services, including Academic Technology, Program Coordination, Office of Accessibility, Office of Student Affairs and more. The Director of Design Services will also be required to attend the annual on-site Mizzou Online All Staff Retreat, Director Retreats, and other on-site events or meetings as business needs dictate. Travel for this position is expected to be minimal. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
