Bag Machine Operator

Pay: $18.00/hr

Shift: Days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (2/2/3 schedule)

As a Bag Machine Operator , you will start by learning basic machine operation and quality testing, eventually advancing into more complex machine operations. This role is key to ensuring production lines run smoothly while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate hoists, conveyors, and other machinery
• Troubleshoot machine issues and involve maintenance when necessary
• Complete and record all required quality checks
• Print labels and fill out documentation as needed
• Ensure smooth shift handover and changeover processes
• Work with multiple computer programs to manage operations
• Occasionally work in a cornstarch dust environment
• Remain on your feet, standing and walking for extended periods

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent machine operator experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a math test
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with computer programs to operate machines
