Financial Analyst 1 - $64,000 - $80,100

Financial Analyst 2 - $78,500 - $98,100

Financial Analyst 3 - $89,800 - $112,300

Role

Lead role in advanced-level analytical activities with minimal supervision. Lead budget, investment, ALM, Allowance, and reporting activities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities



  • Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Leads annual budget development, including balance sheet and income statement forecasting
  • Performs high-level analyses on the Credit Union's investment portfolio, making recommendations to optimize portfolio cash flows, ensure adequate liquidity, and meet ratio requirements
  • Coordinates with the ALM service provider to monitor and interpret risk under multiple interest rate and market scenarios
  • Provides clear explanations of key drivers for changes in the Credit Union's risk profile through analysis and reporting of balance sheet interest and liquidity risks
  • Analyzes data from internal and external sources for ad-hoc and reoccurring reports. Collaborates with various stakeholders to prepare and leverage analytical tools and systems
  • Develop reports and presentation materials that effectively communicate financial performance and risks for use by management, Committees, and/or the Board. Provides input for strategy recommendations
  • Assists in information gathering and preparation of the quarterly submission of the NCUA Call Report and identifies opportunities to analyze and leverage its variousoutputs, including financial performance ratios
  • Reviews or develops financial information or data as requested by external auditors and regulators
  • Assists management and staff in resolving complex financial issues
  • Responsible for loan loss analytics. Recommends methodologies and provision amountswhile following accounting standards


Qualifications

Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics required
  • MBA, CPA, CFA and/or similar professional designation/certification/education preferred OR
  • A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions may be substituted



Experience



  • 0 - 7 years of similar or related experience(specific requirements below)

    • Financial Analyst1:0-2 years of similar or related experience
    • Financial Analyst 2: 2 - 4 years of similar or related experience
    • Financial Analyst 3: 4-7 years of similar or related experience




  • To qualify for a Level 3, at least 3-5 years of experiencemust be inan analyzing and planning role at the organization-wide level
