The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license is required.
• Experience caring for individuals with MH/MR preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

The Nurse Coordinator is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of individuals' physical, medical, and psychiatric needs. The Nurse Coordinator assists in coordinating medical, health, and wellness for individuals receiving any IDD services within a given area. This will also include any specific medical skill or oversight of medical procedures for individuals receiving IDD services within those areas. This position will be a resource to the team including administrators, directors, managers, site supervisors, staff, etc. The Medical Coordinator will demonstrate and lead all staff in reflecting MERAKEY's mission and core values.

The ability to work a flexible schedule to assure support and compliance as needed to include covering for open nursing shifts when applicable. Demonstrate initiative and personal responsibility for assignments; comply to state federal and agency expectations and regulations. To include EMAR and AVATAR Development /implementation
