JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position will be to move materials and packaging material to the production lines, removed finished goods from the line to correct location and any other duties as assigned. The overall goal will be to ship products to customers on time and complete, meeting or exceeds our customers' expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
• Pick raw materials from inventory
• Place raw materials at correct workstation
• Place packaging materials at workstation
• Remove finished good from workstation
• Place product in warehouse
• Carry out correct transactions in computer system
• Organize warehouse
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to work an 8 to 12-hour shift.
• Be capable of being trained and operate a forklift

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
• Complete repetitive movements
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
