Title - Shipping and Receiving Clerk Location - San Diego, CA Duration - 4+ Months Shift Time: 6:00am-2:30pm PST and 6:30am-3:00pm PST Top 5 Required Skills Computer proficiency. MS Office, Excel, Outlook. Ability to problem solve routine and detailed issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Retain information for routine work as well as detailed instruction. Work in a fast-paced environment (able to focus and multi-task as demands shift) Technologies Ability to read, understand and reply to a high volume of daily email. 50-100 daily. Requires at least 1 year experience in shipping/receiving atmosphere. Forklift experience a plus, but must be willing and able to train and certify on locally managed forklifts (program managed in house Required Education High School Diploma Years of Experience Required 3 years (or more) experience in shipping/receiving roles. Basic level systems knowledge. Performs goods receipts against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods. Prepares, verifies and packages goods for shipment. Creates shipping documents for outgoing carriers. Fedex, UPS, DHL etc. Restocks supplies, delivers goods to offices.
