Position summary:

In this important role you will effectively lead a gas storage operations workforce, focusing on obtaining organizational objectives within the guidelines of providing safe, reliable natural gas utility service to customers. Provide supervisory oversight of storage and compression workforce to ensure compliance with all standards.

Pay Range: $94,800 - $156,250 (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Reporting Relationship: Manager Gas Transmission & Measurement

Location: This position may be located in Casper, Laramie, or Rawlins, Wyoming

Essential Functions:
* Supervise, schedule, train, and develop front-line employees performing work in the areas of storage, compression, and transmission tasks. Lead all aspects of and ensure the completion of all regulated/mandated work.
* Responsible to Wyoming storage and transmission operations to maintain knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements, coordinates with Gas Engineering & Standards to assure DOT regulations are understood and communicated.
* Proactively promote and lead safety initiatives in all phases of operations and in compliance with DOT, State, and Company standards.
* Make daily decisions that positively impact capital and maintenance programs including external contractors. Partner with other departments and personnel to continuously improve processes.
* Accountable to be responsible for and supervise audits, take corrective action as needed. Participate in all scheduled OPS audits and drive follow-up actions as needed to assure in compliance. Construct/coordinate gas incident investigations as required.
* Positive working relationships and communications with local communities and customers served. Requires successful partnerships with other energy delivery groups and customer care to meet field services business goals, customer service standards, and expectations.
* Build successful relationships through communication to leaders in towns with municipal utilities. Lead business acquisitions initiatives including due diligence and public advocacy.
* Assist in the Development of district level budgets.
* Respond to emergency situations.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Manage employee & labor relations issues at the operational level, with assistance from Human Resources.
* Actively sponsor or lead continuous improvement efforts and build a positive environment that empowers all employees to continuously improve.
* Maintain training records and compliance documentation.

What Is Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in business management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of pipeline, utility industry, gas storage operations, corrosion, measurement, transmission or other relevant experience required.
* Valid Driver's License upon hire.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to independently lead multiple tasks.
* Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software).
* Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and manage external contractors.
* Effective project management skills.
* Excellent collaboration and customer service skills.
* Leadership skills including coaching and team engagement.

What Is Desired:
* Three (3) years' experience in a supervisory position.
* Financial management, budgetary, planning, and forecasting skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
