What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: The Manager of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for developing and overseeing the credit union's Enterprise Risk Management program. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, this position will develop, implement, and monitor the program and processes for identifying, assessing, monitoring, aggregating, and reporting key risks and risk responses. - Manage the development and implementation of the ERM program across the credit union
- Manage the ongoing development and use of IRM/GRC tool
- Work with Director of ERM and other leaders to maintain the Credit Union's Risk Appetite statements, ERM Committee charter, and ERM policies
- Enhance and facilitate the credit union's risk assessment process
- Maintain Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report organizational wide risks, and to manage risks according to the credit union's ERM model
- Work with Director of ERM to maintain the credit union's risk management policies and strategies ensuring they are in compliance with applicable regulations and align with strategic objectives
- Drive a culture of risk awareness through employee training, communications, and other initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: Manage a small but growing group of Risk and Vendor Analysts. Perform annual and semi-annual reviews of staff as required by HR policies and perform ad hoc reviews as needed for continued development of staff. Manage the workload of staff to continue developing the ERM programs and ensure established programs continue to develop. Set goals for staff and monitor progress throughout the year.

What You'll Need
|
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a business administration, finance or related field is preferred
- Five years of experience in risk management
- At least two years supervisory experience
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Strong presentation skills with the emphasis of leading and facilitating discussions, directing meetings and documenting follow-up requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills.
- Strong writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong sense of accountability. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and follow-up.
- A working knowledge of financial and operational internal control methodologies and terminologies, and process and control industry standards
