The ultrasound section of the Johns Hopkins Hospital performs more than 24,000 examinations each year, including abdominal and gynecologic ultrasound; thyroid and neck; obstetrics; organ transplants; ultrasound of various joints, muscles, tendons and nerves; cartoid duplex, abdominal Doppler; ultrasound guided procedures and peripheral vascular Doppler examinations.

Johns Hopkins is currently searching for a Ultrasound Technical Educator to join our elite team. As an Ultrasound Technical Educator you will:




  • Assess and address the technical and educational needs of the Ultrasound techs;
  • Communicate with the physicians regarding procedure optimization and development;
  • Assist with communication of procedural changes

Minimum Qualifications:




  • Completion of an accredited Medical Diagnostic Sonography program
  • Valid CPR card
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Prefer certification in multiple specialties.
  • Three (3) years of clinical imaging experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to promote teamwork

Salary Range: Minimum $47.68/hour - Maximum $78.74/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
