Maintenance Technician

Location: Clover Glen, Columbus, Ohio (West Side)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, daytime shifts

Summary:
Join our team at National Church Residences as a Maintenance Technician. You'll ensure the safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation of our senior housing facility through inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems. This role also includes supervising junior staff and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Maintain clean, safe common areas and perform general repairs

• Ensure safety standards and code compliance

• Supervise and train maintenance staff

• Manage inventory and order supplies

• Document maintenance work and report to supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required; vocational training preferred

• 2+ years maintenance experience, preferably in residential or senior housing

• Supervisory experience a plus

• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, diagnostics, and tools

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver's license required

• Relevant certifications (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Work Environment:
Indoor/outdoor senior housing facility; may require flexible hours or on-call shifts.
