Astrion has an opportunity for a principal Acquisition Program Manager in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) which focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. HNI also provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, Massachusetts

JOB STATUS: Full-Time

TRAVEL: Rarely

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • MA/MS and 15 years of experience, of which 10 years must be in the acquisition program management,
  • Secret level Clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Investigating, analyzing, planning, evaluating, drafting and/or recommending solutions for project/program efforts
  • Providing expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes
  • Appling broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning
  • Applying knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process
  • Reviewing initial and revised acquisition documents
  • Providing the Enterprise level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Providing comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitate an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division
