Material Planner

Join PPG Aerospace as a Material Planner in Valencia, where you'll play an important role in our on-site team. You will report directly to the Supply Chain and Inventory Management Supervisor. You'll ensure seamless coordination of materials and resources to meet production timelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Create and issue Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Work-in-Process status reports
• Build, prioritizes, issues and closes production work orders
• Update capacity planning and master schedule; determine production material required; verify quantities available
• Review open order report information, verify accuracy or investigates and corrects discrepancies
• Communicate type of materials approaching critical re-order levels to purchasing function to assure material is available for production requirements
• Stores, maintains and safeguards inventory file printouts, bills-of-material and shop floor actions
• Align with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures
• Perform basic mathematical calculations including decimals, fractions, percentages, and metric conversions

Qualifications

• One (1) year of aerospace manufacturing experience or data entry experience in a manufacturing or supply chain related role required
• High school diploma equivalent (GED) required
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary Range $55,000-$60,000 Depending on experience
