Kratos has an opportunityifor a Software Development position in our NF software products team. The responsibilities of this position involve understanding requirements, creating a software design, identifying and estimating the required work, and then implementing the software solution as part of our software modem products. As part of the team, this person will collaborate with other team members within an Agile Software Development environment that focuses on working software and continual improvement.i

• BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum two years as a Software Developer using C++
• Solid understanding of software design, implementation, and testing using current tools and techniques
• Ability to understand, apply, and implement Digital Signal Processing algorithms and techniques in software.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Graduate Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience architecting, developing, and delivering software applications for Linux based systems
• Experience with designing and implementing software defined modems/waveforms and interfacing with RF digitizer hardware.
• Experience with communication systems, waveforms, and operational concepts, ideally targeted for satellite ground systems
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment using the Atlassian tools

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000
