Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architects in Jacksonville, FL to define, maintain and extend functional product architecture for FIS' suite of Financial Services Applications. Guide application development team through development process. Ensure development is done right the first time and has

an understanding of how products relate with other products and ensures interdependencies are in focus. Define and maintain architecture principles and standards for FIS application development based on FIS business requirements. Focus primarily on disciplines of selection, operation and administration of "commercial-off-the-shelf" (COTS) systems and system software that make up underlying operating environment in support of business processes. Design the foundation for how our global fintech platforms perform and scale. Expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: architecting and implementing big data solutions on Azure cloud, including the use of services including Azure Data Lake, Cloudera Public (CDP), Identity Access, Networking and Firewall; leading the design and implementation of big data architectures, selecting appropriate tools to ensure data integrity and governance; implementing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines deploy applications across multiple environments with Harness/Jenkins; identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in Hadoop eco services to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval; designing and maintaining data warehouses using Hive and Impala, optimizing schemas and queries; designing scalable cloud architectures and managing Azure resources to support large-scale data operations and applications; implementing security measures and compliance protocols for big data and cloud environments, including data encryption, access control, and regulatory adherence; implementing, configuring, and managing Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) to ensure data security, high availability, and performance optimization; and writing and managing Terraform/Shell scripts to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure, ensuring repeatability, consistency and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in one of the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
