Job Summary

This position directly oversees the PPC (Production Planning and Control) function and team within Masimo's Operations department. PPC is a centralized team responsible for aligning company objectives with the day-to-day Operational and Supply Chain Management activities. This individual will work cross-functionally with other stakeholders, as well as all levels of management, to ensure timely achievement of organizational goals and departmental objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Review S&OP analysis of quarterly and annual demand forecasts to identify trends and implement risk mitigation plans for optimal operational performance.
  • Facilitate production planning and capacity planning activities at the manufacturing plants by utilizing KPI's to track performance and flag areas of improvement.
  • Optimize global inventory levels based on localized consumption metrics, inter-company transit times, and optimized freight methods to meet customer requirements.
  • Administer changes as required to ensure optimal performance and efficiency across all Supply Chain functions, such that desired outcomes are attained, and high customer satisfaction levels are achieved.
  • Manage new and on-going projects by overseeing cross-functional teams, mapping out critical milestones, identifying issues or concerns, developing solutions, and adjusting project plans as required to keep projects on track.
  • Identify and employ process improvements to business practices and SOP's, including topics such as: operational excellence, business continuity, cost reduction, inventory management, distribution operations, and more.
  • Work closely and collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Product Development, Quality, Document Control, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service peers to ensure business needs are met.


Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience in project management , Engineering Management or Supply Chain management
  • 4+ years of experience being a people manager
  • Must have excellent analytical, planning, and project management skills
  • Must have strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and professional peers
  • Must have experience with data management tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience or familiarity with Manufacturing and Logistics
  • Ability to interface effectively with Team Members in various functions


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in the Healthcare or Medical Device industry


Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business or Engineering related field. MBA is preferred.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $215,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 20% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary.
