Responsibilities

    Confer with a broad range of technical, professional and managerial personnel as well as designers, consultants and contractors to coordinate and establish detailed construction cost estimates
  • Ensure the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and construction
  • Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications or contract changes
  • Review and report on contract estimates prepared by private consultants and recommend if estimate is appropriate for implementation
  • Participate in cost negotiations
  • Plan, assign, and review work of Estimators
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years total experience as an Estimator with 5 years of Estimating for Archatecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing construction, architecture, or MEP Estimator

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For New York, New York this ranges from $90,000.00 -$128,800.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
