The Park Lab in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to work on projects investigating genetic alterations in cancers. More information on the lab can be found here. The Lab Specialist will work closely with Dr. Park and other lab members to perform a set of experiments on a regular basis, which include animal related works (genotyping PCR, monitoring mouse colony and tumor-bearing mice), cell culture works, molecular biology works (plasmid cloning and transfection), and biochemical experiments (protein extraction and immunoblot) under the direction of principal Investigator.
