Nordson MEDICAL - Fluid Components a global leader in Medical and Inflation Valves, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL as an Associate II, Customer Experience. Summary of the role

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

The Associate II, Customer Experience rep will interact with customers via email and phone. This role handles purchase orders from receipt through shipment. This includes customer inquiries related to specifications, pricing updates, order management and shipment details. This role also includes processing quotes and sample requests, supporting complaint investigations, processing customer returns and credit memos.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Provide limited product technical support as needed
  • Enter customer orders into ERP System
  • Confirm customer product specification/revisions are accurate in ERP system
  • Provide customer with Order Acknowledgements and Proforma Invoices as needed
  • Follow-up on past due orders by working with the Production Planning team
  • Work with the warehouse team to ensure timely order preparation to meet requested ship dates
  • Communicate with Shipping department regarding customer contact and shipping instructions
  • Coordinate customer return goods activity per internal procedures
  • Initiate customer complaints into HRC complaint handling system, including acknowledgement back to customer

Skills and Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Expertise with Customer Service concepts and best practices
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate a collaborative interaction with peers to reach common goals
  • Make decisions using available resources and data
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in data entry and order maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective organization skills
