Maintenance Technician

Provide Operations Support

• Complete repairs to bagging machine during shift as needed

• Handle repairs and perform preventive maintenance on sealing machine

• Handle breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance on carton sealing machine, marsh taping machine, and Ranpak unit

• Complete VersaPacker (foam machines) repairs during shift

• Complete other assignments as needed

Powered Material Handling Equipment Maintenance

• Complete battery rotation as scheduled

• Perform battery maintenance

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance during equipment downtime

Conveyor System Maintenance

• Support operations during the picking process

• Perform routine and major maintenance on unused conveyor sections during assigned shift

• Repair and rebuild components such as gear boxes, rollers, etc.

• Conveyor system experience is a plus

Building Maintenance

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), OR one to three months related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or as a forklift mechanic

• General knowledge of machinery, hand tools, power tools, electricity (110V - 480V), controls, circuitry, motors, bearings, building construction, plumbing, and HVAC

• Proficient hands-on electrical knowledge and experience with material handling equipment maintenance

• Conveyor system experience (Hytrol, Automotion, Inc., TGW) - a plus

• Experience with 3M carton sealing equipment, Automated Packaging AutoBaggers, RanPak Fill Systems, Sealed Air VersaPacker systems, and impulse bag sealers - a plus
