The Job at a Glance

As theContinuous Improvement Engineer,you are critical in helping our Fulfillment CenterTeam operate at itsvery best. You will be joining an existing team within our Fulfillment Center that seeksout areas of opportunity and driveschange. Your team will utilize LEAN and 5s methodologies while working with floor leadership to optimize our Fulfillment Centers. You will assist with process improvement projects, storage optimization, labor management, our system enhancement roadmaps, and helping with workstation design and improvements. You will help our QualityTeam in the identification and elimination of root cause issues.

A Typical Day

  • Analyze existing Fulfillment Center processes and assess short comings / gaps
  • Using LEAN and 5S methodologies, drivechange acrossourFulfillment Centersto improve efficiencies and reduce waste while improving general flow
  • Drive overall Fulfillment Centerquality through process improvement
  • Work with our training team to develop and implement preferred methods and labor standards
  • Work with floor leadership to identify and plan waste reduction projects
  • Promote culture of continuous improvement within the Fulfillment Centerorganization
  • Contribute to planning and development of major Fulfillment Center initiatives

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have2+ years' experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations leading continuous improvement efforts
  • You cantransform data into actionable decisions and insightful stories
  • Your written and verbalcommunication skillsare top notch
  • You're a self-starter looking to make abigimpact
  • You consider yourself an expert in MSOffice, especiallyExcel
  • You can dazzle someone with your PowerPoint skills
  • You have experience pulling data from data repositories
  • You can work Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
  • You have a demonstratedability to drive change and promote CI
  • You holdacertification in CI methods (LEAN, DMAIC, etc.)
  • You thrivein fast-paced environmentandcan self-manage
  • You have experiencesuccessfullyleading and building teams
  • You have experience with labor management

About Your Future Team

At Parts Town, we value transparency and are committed to ensuring our team members feel appreciated and supported. The salary range for this role is $68,486.58 - $92,658.32 annually ($32.92 - $44.54 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
