THE JOB: As the Pool Operations Manager for Bellagio, you will oversee the daily operations of all pool areas, ensuring a flawless guest experience that reflects the standards of a Forbes Five-Star resort. In this leadership role, you'll set the tone for excellence-guiding a high-performing team and delivering warm, attentive service that creates memorable moments. By anticipating guest needs and crafting personalized experiences, you'll play a key role in making every visit to the Bellagio pool a lasting impression of luxury and care. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Supervise employees to ensure they are alert to all their duties and adhere to Company policies and procedures regarding the safety, health, and welfare of the guest and the property. Operate a smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, and inventory control. Responsible for ensuring the department properly executes all requests made by VIP Services, Executives, etc. Manage opening/closing duties of the pool area and ensure proper appearance of the pool deck throughout the shift. Coordinate maintenance and repair of the pool deck and facilities. Review reports generated by the property and the Company to ensure proper execution of services, distribution of departmental reports, and accuracy. Facilitate and maintain consistent pool safety programs, training, and documentation to ensure the overall safety of guests in the pool area and to be in compliance with health district regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years old or older. 2+ years prior relevant experience in restaurant management, preferably in a resort, large pools, luxury hotels, or high-volume recreational operations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a leadership position, preferably within Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Recreation Management, such as resorts, large pools, luxury hotels, or high-volume recreational operations.
