Lead and facilitate our popular "Walk and Talk Health" community events where you'll engage with community members answering wellness questions while promoting active lifestyles Create and present engaging, visually appealing health education content for various audiences, with opportunities to leverage social media to expand our reach Develop and share healthy nutrition guidance through interactive demonstrations and digital content Present exercise and nutrition education to seniors through our innovative "Jumpstart Your Health" initiative Provide specialized wellness education to firefighters within our hospital catchment area Support and contribute to local community Health Fairs with interactive demonstrations and educational materials Help develop and implement new program ideas that align with current health trends and community needs Lead high-energy group exercise classes as well as mindful movement sessions like stretching and yoga Facilitate evidence-based relaxation techniques and stress-reduction exercises Perform fitness evaluations and create personalized workout plans for participants Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Nursing, Exercise Science, or Physiology required. Certified Health Education Specialist certification (CHES) or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification required.
