OU Health Transplant Institute is located at 920 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104. This facility provides both kidney and liver transplant procedures and care. This facility analyzes the full picture of everything that is needed to work to provide a healthy outcome. * Learn general transplant and the specific specialty * Promote education that can help towards professional growth and development * Team oriented environment * Offers autonomyGeneral Description: Under limited direction, functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, interpreter, educator and counselor for patients. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred. Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of nursing theory, practices, techniques, procedures and standards. Knowledge of the principles of supervising staff. Skill in planning and organizing nursing care, applying advanced nursing clinical skills, maintaining records and charts, preparing written reports and in maintaining effective working relationships with others.
