THE JOB: The Manager of Endpoint Services plays a critical role in executing the endpoint management strategies defined by the Director of Digital Workspace Services. This leadership position is responsible for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization's endpoint infrastructure, with a focus on performance, security, and end-user experience. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in managing teams responsible for operating system imaging, application packaging, patch management, and the administration of endpoint management tools. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead the Endpoint Services team in the build, maintenance, and security of operating systems, application packaging, and patching. Collaborate with the Director to implement secure, standardized endpoint management solutions that enhance user experience. Oversee mobile device management operations, aligning with security policies and supporting a diverse mobile workforce. Manage endpoint support services, ensuring timely issue resolution and consistent service quality. Oversee the lifecycle of endpoint hardware and software, integrating new technologies as needed. Ensure alignment with VDI strategies and manage thin client applications for consistent and reliable user experiences. Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs, using performance data to drive continuous improvement. Stay informed on emerging endpoint technologies and recommend innovations to enhance service delivery. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Manage the endpoint services on-call rotation and handle escalations as necessary.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in endpoint services or related IT functions. 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role focused on team performance and service delivery. Proven expertise with endpoint management tools such as Intune and Jamf. Strong knowledge of OS builds, application packaging, patch management, and VDI/mobile environments. Effective leader with experience in team development, performance management, and strategic alignment. Skilled in project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Committed to continuous improvement and staying current with evolving technologies.
