GENERAL SUMMARY: The Nursing Manager is a Registered Nurse who is accountable for leading, managing, developing, supervising, and evaluating the delivery of patient care at multiple sites or departments. Provides clinic leadership and works in partnership with nursing, the health care team and leadership to assure quality patient care. Care is provided in accordance with departmental, Henry Ford Medical Group and Henry Ford Health policies and procedures. Facilitates empowerment of staff in the implementation of creative and innovative patient care delivery models and stimulates a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in the continuous improvement of patient care services. In conjunction with the Administrator, assumes responsibility for fiscal management of clinic/department. More about the clinic and team! The Academic Patient Centered Team Care (A-PCTC) clinic is an innovative Detroit-based patient-centered medical home for medically and socially complex adult patients and families. Its dual mission is to advance the health and well-being of our community and to educate tomorrow's healthcare leaders via clinical training programs, research, and quality improvement. Internal medicine faculty physicians and residents lead interdisciplinary care teams. The teams seek to address each patient's medical, behavioral, and social needs. The A-PCTC clinic's daily work is focused on improving the patient experience, teamwork, quality of care, and education. It is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment looking for motivated individuals who are highly adaptable to change and want to improve urban healthcare delivery. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. Additional Information
