Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating automatic transmission trucks, primarily flatbeds, to deliver materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, customer service, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic transmission Class B trucks (non-CDL) for material deliveries.
  • Drive 24-foot flatbed trucks to various locations.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials, which constitutes 90% of the job.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and team members.
  • Adhere to scheduled working hours, typically 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime, especially during the summer season.
  • Take mandatory lunch breaks, ensuring the truck is securely parked and locked if leaving the vehicle.
  • Maintain the security of materials during breaks and deliveries.
  • Stay hydrated and manage personal health while working in outdoor conditions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the yard, accounting for approximately 10% of the work.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Class B driver's license (non-CDL).
  • Experience driving automatic transmission trucks.
  • Ability to operate a 24-foot flatbed truck.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions.
  • ** Must be 21 years or older!**
  • All drivers must hold the required state-issued self-certification designation of non-excepted interstate and provide proof. All drivers must hold at a minimum a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • All drivers must have at least one (1) year of driving the class of vehicles they will be driving while assigned to *** Enterprises, Inc. All drivers must have had a CDL for minimum of one year.



In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operations.

Job Functions:

  • Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
  • Validate directions.
  • Unload or assist in unloading material as required.
  • Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits.
  • Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature.
  • Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
  • Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit.
  • Pick up local-pickup purchase orders.
  • Secure and return packing list(s).
  • Verify all material has been unloaded and placed at the delivery site.
  • Verify the customers signature on the delivery ticket.
  • Print name next to signature if necessary.
  • Review delivered orders with the supervisor for completion, accuracy, and format.
  • Return all delivery ticket copies to warehouse and verify that none are missing.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
  • Fuel the truck as necessary.
  • Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the supervisor Compliance with company uniform policy.
  • Assist in warehouse as necessary.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service.
  • Abide by all polices, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
  • Work overtime as needed.



Work Hours: Must be able to work 8 or more hours within the time of 4am-4pm.

OT is expected especially during the summer months.

A 30 minute unpaid lunch daily.
