Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all current day trades, previous day trades and open positions of our Futures, Options and swaps transactions that are cleared through the exchange.
- Run a daily US and EUR report to initiate margin calls or returns to the counterparties and/or writers and to internally report.
- Provide MTM Counterparty Reports to Counterparty.
- Administrate Traders Exchange access rights.
- Transmit cash payment instructions to the Account Payable team.
- Work with Finance and assist in resolving AR/AP discrepancies.
- Reconcile/validate/settle all FX Corporate Balance Sheet transactions and settlement trades entered in our system.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks at once by ensuring all trade economics and discrepancies are appropriately investigated and resolved, while managing client expectations and potential fail exposure.
- Liaise with counterparties, and internal teams such as Front Office, Middle Office to resolve transactions discrepancies and / or settlement failures in a timely manner.
- Maintain shared outlook mailbox, by responding timely with accurate information to both external and internal customers.
- Assist on providing information relating to our SOX controls with Internal/External Auditors.
- Ability to creatively analyze business processes and develop solutions that utilize new and existing technologies to improve overall process and efficiencies, i.e. automation and robotics.
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and Management.
- Ability to train and assist junior staff.
- Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification.
- 3-4 years' experience in the energy sector and in the commodity trading business, ideally related to exchange traded products.
- Experience of understanding financial markets and derivative products is essential.
- Margining experience is preferrable.
- International experience is preferrable.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment.

- Innovative in providing and addressing business needs in a changing environment.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies.
