Second Shift (2 p.m. - 10 p.m.) Operator loads and unloads rack with light, medium and heavy aluminum cores. Moves rack in and out of furnace. Monitors the process by observing various gages. Operates furnace controls. Responsible for proper handling of cores. Responsible for running the necessary amount of cores through furnace to meet production requirements. Accountable for product ID and traceability, inspection status, nonconforming product, housekeeping, safety, and scrap. Accountable for quality of own work through the use of Statistical Process Control and other methods of measurement to meet process capabilities. Responsible for measuring and recording quality checks per PCP utilizing quality forms. Key Responsibilities
