Job Responsibilities:

In collaboration with Suburban Hospital senior executive team and Suburban Hospital management team; the Director of Professional Practice directs the continued professional development of patient care nursing services, understands healthcare issues, trends and technology; and advises the strategic planning, management, service delivery, quality improvement, organization, evaluation of nursing standards of professional practice.

Qualifications:




  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Masters of Science in Nursing Preferred.
  • Current Maryland Licensure as Registered Nurse
  • Certification in area specialty preferred but not required
  • At least five years' current RN experience
  • Previous experience in Nursing management position


Salary Range: $155,000 per year - $190,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
