This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Concord, California. Summary & Scope of Position: This position will play a critical role in developing accurate costing, ensuring accuracy in operational reporting, inventory management and financial integrity of the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring cost efficiency and maintaining financial accuracy in relation to supplier contracts, pricing, and cost structures. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with third-party contract manufacturers, procurement, supply chain and sales operation teams to track, analyze, and report on production and project costs. Primary Responsibilities: Supplier Cost Management
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships within the organization including Development, Supply Chain, and Sales Operations.
- Develop solid understanding of the Company's products including components and supplier relationships.
- Build strong understanding of contractual terms with Company's suppliers and third-party contract manufacturers.
- Gather, analyze and inform management about information from suppliers and third-party contract manufacturers.
- Perform ongoing analysis of the Company's product cost, including potential for on-site collaboration at the Company's suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Perform analysis to understand different factors that affect prices and profitability of the Company's products. Make recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies in invoicing and payments.
Cost Analysis and Reporting
- Assist in analyzing and updating standard costs working cross-functionally with the Supply Chain and Sales Operations teams.
- Analyze inventory adjustments and collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and production vendors to determine root cause and corrective action.
- Support preparation of quarterly analyses and reporting for COGS as it relates to freight-in, freight-out, obsolescence, scrap and rework, and warehouse costs.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly gross margin analyses for Executive Leadership and Audit Committee.
Internal Controls and Compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records to ensure compliance with the Company's policies including Sarbanes-Oxley 404 processes and US GAAP.
- Assist with audit and quarterly review - PBC, respond to questions and prepare analytics.
- Participate in year-end audit inventory counts or cycle counts as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- CMA or CGMA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook; Oracle R12 experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, listening). Proficiency in English, French, and Spanish is preferred.
- International and domestic travel required up to 10-20% of the time.
- Detailed oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work comfortably under pressure and under tight deadlines.
- Team player with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on various factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
