Hourly rate - $26.00-$29.000/hr (base rate)

Current Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

Production Shift Lead:

      Stages jobs for processing within the department to ensure meeting shipment date
    • Assigns individual and teamwork in order to effectively complete the shift production schedule accurately and on time
    • Complete understanding and knowledge of setup in at least two of the following departments:
      • Punch: from Job Setup to Complete performing of F/A and minimum change to get maximum output
      • Hot Stamp: Hologram /PBM/Sig Setup, troubleshooting, and adjusting the Turning belt regarding any jobs, understanding the Die inventory cycle
      • Card Inspection: Being able to set up the system in operator Level II level, being able to process the machine and run analytically for understanding the distribution of the scrap. Troubleshooting techniques.
      • Smartcard-CMI: Following the recipe on processing the job, understanding from different type of chip aspect and being able to set up the machine with minimum supervision requirement. Troubleshooting techniques.
  • Observe, report, and document quality data information on the Router
  • Maintain a working schedule of the departments. The schedule may be dynamic and flexible to maximize efficiency and to respond to customer needs.
  • Monitor operation(s) to detect defects or machine malfunctions. Troubleshoot and solve minor machine malfunctions.
  • Perform major machine maintenance as directed by supervision and keep work area clean and organized.
  • Identify nonconforming products as appropriate.
  • Apprise the Production supervisor and production manager of any issues on the shop floor regarding materials, processes, personnel, quality, and/or mechanical issues.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of job completion to Card Services Manager or Card Services Supervisor
  • Responsible for ensuring final count validation, material, and production transactions prior to downstream internal processes
  • Able to provide direction, clarity, and feedback to the other operators in the absence of the Supervisor or Manager
  • Able to interact with Customer Care, QA, and Pre Card process in the absence of the Supervisor or card services manager.
  • Reads and interprets the Micro-modules, Hologram Material Type, and Audit Trail Form, Card Service Shop Floor Router, Card Service Work Instructions Including HotStamp, CI, CHS, CMI and Workmanship Manual to determine if cards and/ OR micro-modules meet required specifications. Verifies the conformance of product to all applicable customers and governing bodies' specifications.
  • Monitor the Measure dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Identify when machine output is outside of acceptable parameters. Perform corrective action(s) as required.
  • Visually examines cards to detect defects for determination of Quality Alert and next Step.
  • Serve as a go-to person to assist employees with all questions about Production, Equipment, Process, Balancing

Machine Operator (working leads)

  • Operates assigned machine or function based on specific work instructions and according to hands-on training received
  • Responsible for accurate machine setup, operations, loading and unloading of materials and error adjustments based on product specifications and customer job ticket requirements
  • Continually checks, monitors and corrects any quality issues that may occur during each customer job run to minimize downtime and waste


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of machine operating experience.
  • The candidate must have basic skills required to operate technical machinery. They must be able to use a caliper and other hand tools.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills
  • The candidate must be able to interface with a PC by inputting and out putting data and loading and unloading programs. Basic computer skills are necessary
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal). Ability to write simple report. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Proficient communication skills including reading, writing, interpreting and speaking in English.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods while ensuring quality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is conducted in a standing position and requires walking, bending, stooping, twisting and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
  • Environment is noisy and may require ear protection
  • Work involves good eyesight, hand/eye coordination and normal color vision to be able to ensure quality product and maintain safety
  • Work involves full use of hands/fingers in order to use precision or semi-precision equipment, tools or instruments requiring deft hand movements
  • Work involves dealing with fine detail, which can be tiring both mentally and physically
  • Works with rapidly moving machinery that may require quick adjustments to minimize waste and time
  • Work is conducted in shifts and may require overtime on other shifts to meet deadlines
