Role Summary

In Rivian's Integrated Marketing team, part of the greater Marketing organization, you'll work closely with cross-functional and creative teams to develop and execute comprehensive campaigns that build the Rivian brand and deliver the business. Your role will be instrumental in responding to broader marketing objectives and creating work that reflects Rivian's brand ethos, inspiring and engaging audiences. An ideal candidate will be able to synthesize clear strategic points of view, write succinct and inspiring briefs, and work collaboratively to bring 360 cross-channel campaigns to life.


Responsibilities

Lead Marketing Strategy and Campaign Development

  • Develop holistic marketing campaigns, initiatives, and new product launches, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand identity across channels.
  • Collaborate with Creative Studio, Design, Product, and external agencies to develop concepts and high-quality creative that resonate with target audiences.
  • Synthesize data, trends, and culture to uncover insights that keep Rivian at the forefront of culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product, creative, design, and channel leads to translate campaign concepts into 360 executions that play to the strengths of different touch-points.
  • Collaborate to help define and champion a product architecture that is clear, consumer-driven, and impacts our marketing output.
  • Work closely with data and research teams to understand the business and audiences, informing your work.

Innovate and Experiment with New Formats and Platforms

  • Push creative boundaries by experimenting with new formats, channels, and storytelling techniques.
  • Pilot innovative, creative ideas that can be scaled if successful, contributing to Rivian's forward-thinking brand.

Steward Brand Messaging and Positioning

  • Ensure all creative work reflects a consistent Rivian voice and connects with our target audience.
  • Define target audiences, positioning, key messaging, and channel strategies to maximize impact.
  • Adjust Rivian's brand positioning as needed, based on emerging audience insights and cultural shifts.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and advertising agencies with at least 3 years in a role managing large-scale campaigns.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. MBA is preferred.
  • Proven success managing cross-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, paid media, and events.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, customer journey mapping, and excellent project management skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate and influence across levels and functions.
  • A balance of strategic and creative thinking.
  • Passion for storytelling and connecting the brand with the audience preferred
  • A test-and-learn mindset with a focus on continuous improvement preferred
  • Show a strong balance of creative thinking and operational excellence preferred
  • Experience in software, technology, entertainment, or premium automotive preferred

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Los Angeles, CA Based Applicants: $125,000 - $156,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment."
