Position Reports to

Production Foreman or Production Supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a similar function.

Job Duties

• Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.
• Ensure that AS9100 quality system procedures are followed.
• Ensure output meets required deadlines while executing the above.
• Act as a liaison between Quality and Production departments. Ensure cross-departmental communication is accurate and effective.
• Final inspection and packaging of parts before they are delivered to the customer.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on designated equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records.
• Prepare and requisition supply items when directed by the supervisor.
• Accurately maintain the MES system as instructed.
• Arrive at work on time and be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Assist in the monthly inventory process.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Must be able to visually inspect parts with high attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Understand general manufacturing processes and how they contribute to overall part quality.
• Possess basic math skills including ability to read and use measure equipment such as tape measure, caliper and micrometer to the fraction and decimal.
• Ability to operate CMM and FabRevision with supervision
• General knowledge to perform routine and preventative maintenance and upkeep of designated equipment and instruments used.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform receiving inspector job duties.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Physical- capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Working Hours- fulltime
• Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot.
