The Director, Tax and Treasury will be responsible for the global Tax and Treasury function and associated compliance requirements including SEC disclosures. Reporting to the VP, Tax and Treasury, this individual must have an expert knowledge of income taxes under US GAAP rules as well as a deep understanding of tax policies being used for business drivers. Additionally, the person should have a good understanding of treasury and associated accounting processes. This leader must have strong skills in communications and working with cross-functional personnel as well as interacting with C-level executives and board members. Responsibilities Completing quarterly and year-end income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP Managing global corporate income tax compliance, global transfer pricing strategy including compliance with US and international tax law requirements Supporting and develop global tax strategies and implementing appropriate corporate legal structures and inter-company arrangements Preparing routine tax filings (sales/use tax, GST/VAT, property taxes, etc.) Understanding the Company's products and monitoring transactions to identify potential areas of tax risk or tax opportunity Managing global outside tax providers Performing processes and procedures to comply with SOX 404 control framework as well as evaluating that framework on an as needed basis Partnering with business leaders to effectively manage exposure Manage Treasury needs including evaluating FX exposure and implementing hedging strategies Driving an efficient global intercompany and cash management strategy Partner with FP&A for modeling and forecasting of tax and treasury related activities You are: A strong team player with good judgment and understanding of the importance ofbuilding scalable functions Hands-on, detail-oriented and organized A self-starter and high-achiever with a focus on doing a great job A superior problem solver, possessing the initiative to look into the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers Excellent multi-tasker who has strong time and project management skills and understands the importance of planning in advance to meet deadlines that include multiple review points and iterations Strong communicator, both written & verbal, capable of translating complex concepts into clear business points; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications Qualifications BS in Accounting or Finance CPA certification Big 4 CPA firm (or regional equivalent) experience required Minimum 12 years of public company experience required Experience partnering with FP&A to deliver insightful information Experience at a global company with significant international operations preferred Experience with SaaS or Software company preferred Prior Treasury experience preferred ************************************** Annual Salary Guidelines: $185,000 - $225,000 Qualys is an Equal Opportunity Employer, please see our EEO policy. |
