What success looks like in this role: * Breaks down functional and business requirements into tangible, clear and estimable objectives, providing recommendations to management and project team members. Designing, developing, and customizing applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and improve service delivery. Modifying existing ServiceNow applications to align with organizational requirements and improve functionality. Producing and running test cases, deploying solutions to test environments, and managing the deployment process to production. Ensuring that code quality standards are met and that best practices are followed. Providing clear documentation of the developed applications, workflows, and integrations for future reference and maintenance. Developing integrations using ServiceNow APIs, web services, and other tools to connect ServiceNow with external system. Proficiency in JavaScript, Web Services, MySQL, and CSS. Being able to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues within ServiceNow is a key skill. Working effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver quality applications. Working with ServiceNow vendors to address product defects and ensure timely resolution. Managing the ServiceNow platform, including tasks like patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring. You will be successful in this role if you have: BA/BS degree and 4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Required ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. Required ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM). ServiceNow Application Developer is a nice to have. ServiceNow ITOM experience is nice to have. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong ability to work within a team atmosphere. US Citizenship status required to service DoD client.
