Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Enterprise Analytics Consultant to join our Healthcare value Analytics team!

The role support executive leadership and cross-functional teams within our enterprise-wide analytic community. This individual will play a key role in driving strategic insights through advanced analytics, data visualization, and effective storytelling, with a strong focus on healthcare data, particularly within the ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support executive leadership, including VPs and cross-functional teams, by developing strategic dashboards, analytic models, and reports.

  • Collaborate with teams across clinical, finance, marketing, consumer experience, and branding functions to deliver high-impact analytics.

  • Lead initiatives involving data integration from multiple sources using advanced SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.

  • Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.

  • Analyze survey data (e.g., Press Ganey, Qualtrics) and contribute to cost-outcome, financial contribution, and operational analytics.

  • Present findings to C-suite leadership, translating complex data into compelling, actionable insights.

  • Participate in an Agile environment, working from weekly backlogs and iterating as project needs evolve.

  • Contribute to the development and administration of enterprise-level data governance and best practices.

Education
  • Bachelor's level Degree required
Certification/Licensure
  • No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with advanced query-writing skills.

  • Proven experience working with data from multiple systems/sources.

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau for visualization and dashboard development.

  • Experience in survey analytics, cost-outcome analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills, particularly for executive-level audiences.

  • Ability to work independently, adapt to evolving priorities, and manage multiple deliverables.

  • Healthcare analytics experience is required; experience in ambulatory settings is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Agile methodologies is preferred.

  • Preferred Background: - Exposure to clinical systems across ambulatory, acute, or post-acute care.

  • Understanding of business concepts in finance, Healthcare operations, and marketing.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $91,416- $137,134. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities."
