Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in Franklin/Milwaukee, WI. This role is pivotal in shaping our brands' digital presence by optimizing e-commerce content, executing digital marketing strategies, managing influencer partnerships, and driving customer engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
E-Commerce & Content Optimization
  • Develop and enhance product content for digital platforms, ensuring a compelling customer experience.
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to optimize digital content across multiple product lines.
  • Conduct audits and updates in Salsify to maintain accurate product information and compliance with regulatory standards.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement engaging content calendars for multiple brands.
  • Manage and optimize social media advertising (Meta, TikTok, etc.) to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Create social media guidelines to ensure brand consistency across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and engage with brand communities across social platforms, fostering positive interactions and customer loyalty.
Influencer & Brand Partnerships
  • Lead influencer collaborations, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and measurable impact.
  • Develop and execute influencer-driven campaigns, including product launches and seasonal initiatives.
  • Utilize partners and platforms to streamline influencer partnerships and maximize reach.
Reputation & Customer Engagement
  • Monitor and manage online reviews and product Q&A across retail platforms.
  • Work closely with the consumer care team to ensure accurate, timely responses and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Implement strategies to proactively enhance brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Optimization
  • Partner with internal teams to support new product launches and brand initiatives.
  • Establish and refine processes for digital content management and campaign execution.
  • Implement and maintain digital tools and workflows to improve efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, paid media, and content marketing.
  • Experience with e-commerce optimization and PIM/DAM systems (Salsify experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and community management strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or social media management.
