- This position will develop custom systems for manufacturing.
- Meet with Project Management, Design Team, and 3rdparty engineers to formulate project scope design.
- Communicate ideas freely.
- Ability to work within a team setting.
- Utilize the following CAD programs primarily SolidWorks.
- Follow P1 drafting standards to create 2 and 3 dimensional drawings.
- Design and program parts for laser manufacturing and final assembly.
- Assist with computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
- Organize and manage work assignments.
- Participatein company standard development activities.
Position Qualifications and Skills
- Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of drafting related work experience is required. 2+years ofexperience working with 3D modeling is preferred.
- Field experience working in industrial manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Computer/Software Skills:
- Proficiency with email,internet, spreadsheets, and word processing applications: specifically, Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows) required.
- Drafting utilizing software is required.
- SolidWorks or experience in 3D modeling is preferred.
- Experience in industrial applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D scanning and manipulation of scanned files is preferred.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
