SUMMARY OF POSITION The Technician will follow standard operating procedures (SOP), safety standards (SP), and cGMP practices to complete their work. The role includes but is not limited to operating and administering the site Environmental Monitoring System and Building Management Systems (EMS/BMS), maintaining and programming PLCs, performing instrument calibrations, performing maintenance and installations of electrical distribution components, conduit and wiring, and operating and maintaining site high-power distribution systems and switchgear. The successful bidder will minimally be expected to perform work covered by the following FM skill sequences: FM Utilities Core, Electrician, Power Technician, Controls & Instrumentation Technician, and PLC Technician. ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE The Controls/E&I Technician will report to the Facilities Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform daily monitoring of EMS alarms. Resolve alarms by performing adjustments to HVAC and utility controls through PLC programs and EMS/BMS to maintain critical environmental conditions in production MODs. * Works closely with HVAC technicians for controls-related routine maintenance of site air handling systems. * Performs maintenance level programming of Allen Bradly PLC systems. * Performs calibrations of instrumentation. * Performs routine and non-routine maintenance of power distribution systems and panels throughout the site. * Performs routine and non-routine maintenance of site high-power distribution systems and switchgear. * Responds to and restores site power failures across all shifts. * Performs general building maintenance tasks as outlined in FM Utilities Core. * Monitors and maintains room pressurization and airflow adjusting and balancing through use of building control systems. * General building maintenance. * Maintains accurate and complete service records. * Utilize electronic systems and software to conduct daily activities including email communication, SOP, SP, and job aid creation/updates and review. * Manage outside contractors as required. QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma/GED * Trade School Certification or College degree in Mechanical/Technical Discipline - Desired * Minimum of 5 years' experience with industrial electrical systems and/or building automation and controls. * Read and interpret technical drawings. * Mechanical aptitude & Logical Thinking * Strong literacy * Documentation of work * Math Skills * Computer skills- MS Office- Word, Outlook, Excel * Ability to work in a team environment. * Ability to Willing to work across (3) different shifts or extended work hours and emergency call-backs.
