CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Programmer/Analyst to join our Corporate - Operations Team at our Albany, NY office or working remotely.



YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

The Sr. Programmer/Analyst will provide technical and strategic leadership to support internal and external technology projects, as well as provide guidance in testing and training. The professional in this role will lead data transformation efforts, particularly during mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and develop and maintain data architecture and models. This individual will analyze complex datasets and collaborate with our analytics team to develop new and impactful visualizations that transform data into actionable insights.

REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in computer application programming and data analysis; supporting and developing small and large-scale computer software applications with a focus on M&A data transformation
  • Experience with information technology systems design, structured programming concepts, and object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with high level databases and computer programming tools such as Visual Basic, SQL procedural programming, Microsoft .NET development, and MS Access
  • Proficiency with relational database design and management including Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience with PowerBI and Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
  • Experience in the A&E industry preferred
  • Knowledge of additional data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. Python, R, etc.) preferred
  • General knowledge of financial and accounting processes preferred
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


SALARY RANGE:

$85,000 - $100,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
