Job Details The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Jefferson Health New Jersey is 12-month long, paid, post-graduate experience. The resident will join the pharmacy team at Jefferson Health New Jersey and integrate themselves in both the operations and clinical areas of pharmacy. Through a variety of specialty rotations, the resident will gain a perspective of collaborative medication management in areas including critical care, infectious disease, internal medicine, behavioral health, informatics, medication safety and pharmacy management. Residents will also participate in hospital committees, perform longitudinal research, and complete a teaching and learning certificate through Rutgers University. Our mission is to develop a pharmacist with the skills and abilities to successfully practice as an acute care pharmacist, adjunct faculty member and/or be prepared to pursue and complete PGY2 residency training.Job Description Essential Functions: Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
