POSITION: ASSOCIATE BRAND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER Summary: At Cambridge Savings Bank, our purpose is to have a positive impact on our customers, employees, and community's financial well-being. The Associate Brand Communications Manager is primarily responsible for promoting and maintaining the Bank's image by elevating brand awareness across social media, events, PR and multi-media. Closely collaborate with the Communications Manager, Marketing Managers and the Creative Director in order to ensure that the team is executing brand communications initiatives in a way that is efficient, effective, and timely. Consistently align work to CSB's values and develop a solution-focused mindset, while building emotional connections by using the tools of listening, compassion and understanding. Key Result Areas:
- Support and execute social media strategies to grow and engage the bank's audience, ensuring content is on-brand, creating value and optimized for each platform.
- Assist in the development and execution of brand communication strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Coordinate brand-related events, such as product launches or promotional events, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that align with the brand's message and target audience. Support the deployment through all available channels (in-branch, digital, website, transit, print, etc.) and other marketing initiatives.
- Support and execute integrated PR and advertising opportunities that increase brand visibility.
- Monitor brand performance and sentiment across various channels and provide insights for improvement.
- Identify and execute partnership opportunities and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach.
- Coordinate brand-related events, such as product launches or promotional events, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to produce high-quality marketing assets and ensure timely delivery of projects, including but not limited to video and photography assets and social media campaigns.
- Support the Communications Manager with the Bank's monthly and quarterly media schedule and asset releases.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in communications, social media, brand management, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of communications strategy and brand management.
- Experience with financial services or other highly regulated industries a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Able to work collaboratively with other staff and exhibit strong teamwork.
- Understanding and/or willingness to learn and utilize marketing software and tools, including social media management platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems (Drupal 8).
- Understanding of campaign management/planning and creative development process for both traditional and online.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator helpful.
