THE JOB:
At Salt & Ivy located at Aria Resort & Casino, the primary responsibility of the Host Person is to warmly welcome guests with courtesy, professionalism, and timeliness. This role ensures the outlet remains clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. Additionally, the Host Person supports the Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Runners by facilitating guest interactions and managing table information, creating a seamless and exceptional dining experience.

THE STARTING RATE:$21.9258

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greets and seats guests in gracious manner and distributes business among Food Servers equally and as fairly as possible

• Assists in accepting reservations; from walk-ups to answering phone in hospitable manner and confirms with manager if large parties can be accommodated

• Assists Restaurant Manager in controlling intermission scheduling for all dining room staff and assure that they are properly relieved

• Advises Manager of any complaints of guests if applicable

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ year's experience either as a host in a restaurant or any customer service-related field

• Knowledge of SevenRooms or Open Table or similar reservation platforms is preferred

• Experience working in upscale setting is preferred

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
