Security Officer - Hotel Patrol

As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Burlingame, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a hotel and resort setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of comfort, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. Guided by our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, you will act with integrity and put people first as you address concerns and assist those on the property.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
