DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Within this role, you will be responsible for transporting consumers to a variety of appointments. A friendly and personable nature will help you successfully establish effective working relationships with the individuals served. You will also maintain all statistical information regarding transportation and provide basic maintenance repairs such as replenishing windshield washer fluid and checking the oil. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of employment which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Potter County. If no eligible candidates who live within Potter County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
