Role Overview:

The Senior Accountant will report to the CFO and be responsible for supporting the Americas and APAC Finance teams. Oversee the cost accounting function. Manage the sales tax process. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Analyze COGS and operating expenses. Maintain financial processes and internal controls.

Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Manage an effective cost accounting system for the two US sites. Manage standard costs. Analyze production variances.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory reconciliations, including perpetual audits, cycle count review, and excess/obsolescence analysis.
  • Administer and manage the sales tax process.
  • Maintain and improve financial processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiencies.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide backup and support to other accounting functions.
  • Support the APAC finance teams with balance sheet and OPEX analysis.
  • Analyze and audit the monthly departmental expenses.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for leadership team.



Qualifications and Training:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Supervisory and management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent understanding of GAAP and relevant financial accounting regulations.
  • 3 years of accounting experience.
