Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Sales Administration Analyst to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, this person will have the desire to be a business partner to the executive leader that they support, be highly analytical and organized, understand the demands and expectations required, while being able to support and assist with the daily requirements and long-term strategic direction of the executives and the Company.

The ideal candidate will have three to five years experience in a data analyst role. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:



  • Conduct research to learn the history of the product and previous market trends.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies.
  • Communicate with company stakeholders and track the sales of the product or service over time, making changes to the price as necessary to maximize profit.
  • Prepare monthly agent commission statements.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly reports and presentation including SDP, staff meetings, sales performance by customer, agents and products, backlog analysis, quote tracking, create various monthly dashboards and plan/execute customer events and various meeting logistics, etc.
  • Manage tasks related to Strategic accounts and buying groups with emphasis on sales reporting, data entry on customer specific programs (Gainshare, Gateway to growth, etc....)
  • Support and prepare analysis for SPD reporting on Power & Communications Products.
  • Prepare data for customer meetings, report data to key customers (National Accounts)
  • Create and maintain reports utilizing Excel and Tableau for industry conferences and reporting purposes
  • Research reporting questions/concerns from field as well as adhoc report requests
  • Manage all details for all industry conferences including event logistics, registration process for Plastics Sales Team and manage agenda.
  • Develop standard work processes as deemed necessary to effectively manage a high level and constant flow of critical information
  • Provide backup Customer Service for both HDPE and PVC Customer Service Team as needed, to include out of office support, over capacity support or other as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet organizational and departmental goals


    What you'll bring:



    • Three to five years previous experience in a data analyst role
    • Bachelor's degree in business preferred
    • Must have five years' experience with Excel, Pivot tables and be proficient in PowerPoint, Charts and Trend Graphing. Knowledge of Salesforce.com JDE and Tableau reporting preferable
    • Pro-active, plan-ahead mentality - able to manage and work on projects independently and meet trigger dates and deadlines
    • Self-starter with strong analytic skills and data driven.
    • Must have exceptional communication and phone skills.


    Within 3 months, you'll:



    • Complete your Atkore immersion program.
    • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
    • Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures.


    Within 6 months, you'll:



    • Update training materials and procedures.
    • Identify ways to strengthen the team's commitment to Atkore's core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.


    Within 12-months, you'll:



    • Be able to resolve any issues quickly and safely.
    • Create and update reports, training materials and documentation.

    As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $58,240 - $80,080. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
